SVCED — Silicon Valley Center for Entrepreneurial Development

Impact & Accountability

Outcomes, on the record.

A public foundation should be legible to the people who fund it. This page describes how SVCED measures and reports program outcomes. Audited numbers, case studies, and grantee stories will be published here as they are reconciled against our financial records.

How We Measure

The methodology, before the numbers.

What we track

As programs launch, we will track participation, completion, placement, wage progression, retention, and grantee-reported outcomes — at 6, 12, and 24 months post-completion where applicable.

How we verify

Outcomes will be cross-checked against partner-employer records and grantee reporting. We will publish variance when targets shift, not just when they are met.

What we commit to

Our goal is program spend above 75% of total expenses. Once programs are running, we will publish a mid-year update and a full annual impact report to funders and the public.

Case Studies

Grants in full, coming soon.

SVCED will publish detailed case studies of individual grants — the challenge on the ground, the intervention we funded, and what happened afterward — written the way we would want a peer foundation to explain their work to us. Each will be published only after the grantee has reviewed and approved the write-up.

Foundation and corporate partners who need case-level detail before the public archive is live can contact us directly.

For Foundation & Corporate Partners

Accountability built into every grant cycle.

Independent fiscal review, documented internal controls, and a board finance committee that meets quarterly.

Outcomes are tracked against published logic models, with participant-level data verified by partner employers and community anchors.

Partners receive a mid-year update and a full annual impact report, with variance explained when targets shift.
