Pillar I · SVCED Program
Youth & Workforce Development
Free pathways from classroom to career.
This program is in active development. Timelines and capacity depend on funding — express interest and we will contact you as cohorts and cycles open.
What we do
The substance behind the promise.
SVCED is designing cohort-based training in high-demand fields — technology, healthcare, aviation, and skilled trades — with wraparound support that treats the whole person, not just the resume. The model pairs each participant with a working professional from the Silicon Valley Black Chamber network.
Training is free to participants. Where funding allows, cohorts will add stipend or transportation support so completion never competes with rent. Graduates are intended to finish with an industry-recognized credential and an introduction to a hiring partner.
Placement, wage progression, and retention will be tracked and reported to funders as cohorts complete. Until the first cohort finishes, we publish no outcome numbers.
